Haikyu!! ( “volleyball”) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a boy determined to become a great volleyball player despite his small stature. Both the manga and anime have been met with positive responses. In 2016, Haikyu!! won the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen category. By September 2023, the manga had over 60 million copies in circulation, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
